LECTURE - Digital Surrealism
Realism vs Surrealism
- Realism: Based on the ordinary from our common world (reality).
- Surrealism: Twist on reality, explores the subconscious mind, distort the ordinary.
Surrealism defies logic, strange, unexpected, filled with dream-like scenes, symbolic images and bizarre juxtapositions. It is a cultural movement focused on type of arts to express about the artist’s idea themselves.
Surrealism is fueled by the teachings of Freud and the rebellious work of Dada artists (Dadaism = An anti war art movement with art works that is satirical and nonsensical in nature).

TUTORIAL - Moving Imagery
We're given a short demonstration video by Sir Faozi on how to make the poster design, which amazes and motivates me to create my own version. The video shows how we can use three different softwares to create the final product: Photoshop for image editing, Illustrator for typography design, and After Effects for the animation.
