Final Project: Animation

Practical

This week, I started working on my animation. Sir Faozi suggested me to animate the text and add animation to the background since my poster's background is plain black.

I began with selecting a video to use for my background like Sir Faozi's recommendation. Since I want to express the beauty of embracing our true identity through my poster, I chose a sparkly video I found from YouTube for the background. 

Then, I tried doing some animation to the text as suggested by Sir Faozi.


However, I wasn't satisfied with the animation. I felt like the animation I did to the text doesn't really fit the whole theme of my poster. I couldn't clearly vision a better animation for it even after some a long time exploring through different medias.

So, I take a break for a while to fresh up my head. After some moment, I decided to add stars/shine shapes and animate that instead of the text. I was quite happy with how the whole poster turn out after the idea shift. Therefore, I continue to the audio.

I extracted a magical sound from a YouTube video and imported it to be in my poster to enhance the poster's feel and charm. I adjusted the timing of it slightly to make the loop less obvious.
