LECTURE
Poster Design
Important Note:
A design doesn’t have to strictly follow rules to be “good.”
Rules can be bent and broken to great effect. Some absolutely
mind-blowing designs ignore one or more of the principles of design in
order to create an eye-catching and effective work.
TUTORIAL
Photography Basics
We are given 3 ten minutes videos explaining about the basics of
photography.
- 1st video provides an overview of essential photography concepts, including: exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and composition to create visually appealing images.
- 2nd video covers techniques (lighting, setup, props) for transforming basic product photography into creative scenes that effectively tell a story.
- 3rd video explains the importance of simplicity in lighting setups (white backdrop, strategic light placement, and usage of reflective surfaces)

Figure 3.3.2 Process Work |
For my personal recoloring, I followed the select and mask technique of recoloring photo like the second exercise. I selected each part of the image and created their individual layer masks. I then filled them in with color accordingly. I applied blending modes and adjust the hue & saturation if needed.
